Solar Art in the Park

The TPL has partnered with the Railroad and Heritage Museum, City of Temple Recycling, and the Temple Children's Museum to make this an event you won't want to miss. Get ready for a fun-filled, educational event, and get your FREE Solar Eclipse Glasses! Bring the whole family and your picnic basket and let's make it something out of this world!

Home Buyer Education
March 21 | 6PM | 3rd Floor

This class will explain the home-buying process, what is needed from the borrower to be approved for a mortgage loan, the benefits of homeownership, and give some advice on how to navigate home-buying in the current economic times.

Next Stop: STEAM
March 13 | 5PM | 1st Floor

Take a break, unwind, and relax after school with constructive and imaginative play that promotes education through STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics). Children are encouraged to be innovative, foster creative problem-solving and critical thinking, and harness their natural ability to ask questions and find answers. All supplies and activities are provided.
Ages 5 to 11 years.

Tween Hangout

Looking for something to do? Looking for a place to hang out with your friends? Join us every second Thursday from 5-6PM at the Temple Public Library for Tween Hangout. Each week we will have a new and fun activity you can do, or feel free to just hang out with your friends and make some new ones!
